After being positive in drugs last September by using the cannabis-laden eye drops after his fight in Las Vegas with Sergio Martinez which he loss his title in WBC MiddleWeight by unanimous decision. The Nevada State Athletic Commission take action after their meeting and take procedural move by suspending his license.

 The Executive Director of NSAC, Mr. Keith Kizer told ESPN "Mr. Chavez's licenses is suspended, but there is no finding of fact on the merits of the case." The decisions comes as no surprise because this is strictly being observed under the Law of the Sports Commission.

The full hearing will be as early as end of this month with both Chavez and Atty. General of Nevada to present their cases. Including was that the recent history of Chavez to failed drug test in Nevada because of drug Furosemide, a known diuretic used to drop weight or mask steroids.

The suspension may be not seems to be only 6 months because of this. He may bestowed with worst 12 months of suspensions. In which he are not allowed to fight in USA.

The son of the iconic pugilist Julio Caesar Chavez who puts a great reputation in the world of boxing puts a stains in his name. Now, the boy "Julio Cesar Chavez Jr." must learn to enrich his sportsmanship and his maturity. If he wants to be back in his boxing career.
